Web 2.0:  Using an aggregator and social network to collaborate beyond the school.


Web 2.0 is the use of the internet to communicate, publish, and share information.  The internet offers a wealth of opportunities for educators to work together and improve pedagogy.


Below:  An aggregator is a program/application that collects feeds from various sites.  One of the more popular aggregators is Google Reader.  One can subscribe to various sites (blogs) to view what others have posted.  You can then, if desired, comment on posts.

Below:  Classroom 2.0 is a social network forum for educators to collaborate on all things tech in the classroom with an emphasis on web 2.0.
